Warehouse Introduction[edit | edit source]

Warehouse is a unique building that allows you to store extra Resources.

At first it have to be manually controlled to transport the goods from other buildings, but after Machinery Research you can use autopilot mode and free transportation between a warehouse and its adjacent buildings.

Autopilot mode for the warehouse allows use of its idle capacity (unassigned workers) to transport resources from buildings that have full storage. In that case your warehouse will act as an overflow storage, allowing more of your buildings to continue manufacturing goods. You have to manually turn on this setting at the bottom of the warehouse.

Warehouse Usage[edit | edit source]

At this point, the warehouse is able to collect resources from buildings if you set import and cap values. Your import increases by 10 with each level. Warehouse can move items without the involvement of workers within 1 tile.

If cap is set, the building will not send resources to factories. To do this, lower your cap. With the help of Machinery research (Classical Age) you can open an autopilot for the warehouse. This will allow the warehouse to collect resources from buildings with full storage (ignoring the cap). The warehouse will then give resources to the factories.

Keep in mind that by default building prioritize distance when deciding where to pick up resources, that might leave your warehouse idle for a while.
