Buildings
Buildings are the basic building blocks of your empire - place them on the explored map tiles. Certain buildings like Stone Quarries and
Aqueducts that extract deposits need to be placed on a deposit tile. A building will lift the god of its surrounding tiles.
Buildings consume Resources and produce new ones. They will automatically transport required resources. The produced resources will be stored in the buildings which can be transported into other buildings that need these resources.
Upgrading[edit | edit source]
Upgrading a building increases its base production, base consumption and base storage capacity, with the added benefit of not costing more Happiness. So while the base production of two level one buildings is the same as one level two building they cost one more Happiness.
Upgrade Cost[edit | edit source]
The Upgrade Cost increases each level by 1.5 times so it can be calculated with the following formula, where C is the base price (aka. the price at level 1):
(1.5)^5 * C
So here is a Table with the upgrade cost for each level until level 30 for a building with a base cost of 10 Resources (For Example: Stone Quarries)
Level | Cost | Level | Cost | Level | Cost |
---|---|---|---|---|---|
1 | 10 | 11 | 576.65 | 21 | 33253 |

Tier 1 Buildings[edit | edit source]
Tier 1 Buildings are one of the most basic buildings in CivIdle. T1 Production buildings do not consume any resources, instead they utilize deposits to produce basic t1 Resources for other buildings.
All T1 Buildings are affected by Rome natural wonder Grotta Azzurra

Tier 2 Buildings[edit | edit source]
Tier 2 Buildings are first buildings in CivIdle that will refine the resources. T2 Production buildings usually consume T1 resources and produce t2 Resources.
