Game Mechanics

From CivIdle Wiki

CivIdle Have variety of different game mechanics that have different purposes and effect on the game and your playthrough.

Transportation[edit | edit source]

Transportation is a core gameplay element in CivIdle. It occurs when Resources are being transported from one building to another.

Transportation uses Workers.pngWorkers and amount of resources each worker can carry is governed by Transportation Capacity Per Worker.

The longer the distance is to transport a good - more workers it will need.

Resources are being picked up by workers from the building that will consume the resource, so they are being pulled from storage building (be it resource production building or a warehouse).

Empire Value[edit | edit source]

Empire Value is the accumulative score of your current playthrough. By reaching specific milestones with Empire Value you will be granted extra Great People at Rebirth.

Most of your Empire Value will be earned from Resources that are being produced and stored in your empire.

You can learn more about Empire Value on its page.

Trade[edit | edit source]

There are 2 types of trade in CivIdle:

  1. Using Markets - this is where you trade your resources with an AI
  2. Using Caravansary - this is where you trade with other Players

Market Trading[edit | edit source]

Market.pngMarket trading allows you to trade excess resources for different ones. Every 60 minutes resource pairs in the markets randomly resets and you will get new pairs.

Player Trading[edit | edit source]

Caravansary.pngCaravansary trading allows you to trade with other players. Before trading you will need to claim a tile on the World Map.

Then you can load your resources in the Caravansary and either find a trade that suits you in the list or create a new trade offer from the resources that you have stored in the building.
